Deaf & Hard of Hearing: Workplace Inclusion

This specialist course provides expert-level understanding of Deaf culture, hearing loss, communication technologies, and workplace inclusion strategies for Deaf and hard of hearing employees. The course distinguishes between culturally Deaf individuals (who use sign language as a primary language) and people with hearing loss (who may use hearing aids, cochlear implants, or lip-reading). Both groups face distinct barriers that require different solutions. All content is referenced to audiology research, Deaf community perspectives, assistive technology documentation, and legal standards.
